I had a head unit located in my boat and after one year it died. I only use my headunit for connecting to my phone and playing music via Pandora/Spotify. I found this Pyle Bluetooth Amp PLMRA410BT on amazon at an amazing price and figured why not give it a shot. Man am I impressed, the sound it way louder than my head unit used to be allowing me to hear the music over the sound of the boat at full speed. It is also super simple as I set my cellphone to the AMP, and as soon as I power it on they connect. All of the controls are via my phone now, so there is no longer multiple steps of turning on head unit, setting the correct source, setting the volume, then connecting the phone and playing music. It has streamlined the entire process and made for an amazing experience thus far.

Rough Country N3 Dual Steering Stabilizer for 05-18 Ford F-250 F-350 Super Duty Install and Review, Death Wobble Fix

My wife and I recently purchased a 2005 F250 4x4. We were not very happy with the loose steering and wobble noted on the front end with larger tires. The truck is stock height and I began researching things I could do to help improve the drive ability of the truck. I found this Rough Country N3 Dual Steering Stabilizer on Amazon and purchased it from this link (LINK). 

I began the install by removing a few of the bolts from the front differential cover, and placing the bracket in its place with the provided bolts. Then by placing the shocks while the steering is centered you will find the location needed for the brackets that mount on each portion near the wheel. All in all it was self explanatory and a pretty straight forward process. I do have one complaint and that is that the U bolt that goes around the front axle was stripping due to the paint and nut.  I was however super impressed with the customer service of Tough Country. I called there number and was greeted by great customer service who promptly mailed out the replacement part within 2 days of shipment.

SPYPOINT Link-S-V Solar Cell Trail Camera Verizon

My friend and I did a bunch of debating on which trail camera to purchase for a property that will be remote and unable to be accessed very easily many states away. We ended up going with this Spypoint Link-S-V Solar trail cam. The quality reviews and features is what drew us into the item.

The cam comes with a service which allows pictures to be sent out of the box without any additional monthly fees, the Iphone App was very intuitive and easy to use. The picture quality is amazing as you will see below and the added feature of solar is a win for me in my situation. I did read other users reviews who highly suggest good lithium batteries for the cam, which I cannot tell you one way or another however I took the advice and this is what we are using from the get go. ZOOM H1 Handy Portable Digital Recorder (Silver)

As you may or may not know about me, I dabble in a ton of hobbies and interests. One I have always been interested in is making videos. I am absolutely blown away by the advances in technology, and with that have found voice recorders to be amazing. After much research, and reviews watched on YouTube I ended up deciding to purchase the Zoom H1 Handy Portable Digital Recorder as well as a lapel microphone. I compared it to captured sound directly out of the camera which was essentially unusable because of wind noise. The recorder uses a battery which it comes with, as well as a MicroSD that is also included in the box, I however opted to upgrade my MicroSD to a 16gb which at the quality I record will provide me almost 25hrs of recording. ACR Aqualink View PLB

I ended up deciding to go with a PLB versus a full size EPIRB for my situation. I like to fish and dive in the Gulf of Mexico, I tend to loose my cellphone service any further than 10 miles out with Tmobile which worries me if I need to summon help. I used to use the SPOT, however the price of the annual subscription went up to around the price I spent to buy this PLB. The idea of the smaller item is to be able to clip it onto my life jacket incase I fall out of the boat, to enable me to summon help. I have not had to use it "Thankfully" however the item appears to be well made and I have no doubts about its function. The LCD screen allows the self tests to be easier than trying to decode blinking LEDs. Registration with NOAA was a breeze and I believe in Florida if you have a EPIRB/PLB you receive a discount on your boat registration... so win win for peace of mind and safety.... 5.11 Tactical A.T.A.C. 6" Side Zip Boot

This is a item that I have now purchased 4 or 5 times over the many years I have worked as a Firefighter Paramedic. I really enjoy these 6in zip boots from 511, They last a very long time and I find the smaller size to be super comfortable and light for daily use. I wear them for 24 hour shifts and find them to not be as hot as their full sized counterparts. The boots always last me longer than a year of high use and abuse, and typically the only issue I end up having with them is that they will have a little wear on the toe cap from me kneeling when helping out patient.
